which is your favorite wood product?

    real wood or enginered wood flooring, whats you fav flooring to fit and why?

    i dont mind either one but i cant stand fitting click system woods as i find them a pain to get together

    have you tried the grun-dorf rnage of flooring. They have a really good click/lock system for enginered thats has to be the easiest product in the world to install. (however small halls can be a pain).

    Also they have a lock solid that you fit floating on elastilon underlay. Again really fast and a easy system. (again a pain in the backside in halls)

    apparently you have to be a certified grundorf fitter alike to the lvt installation specs for guaranteeing the life of the fitted product and yes its a piece of.....cake to fit even i can do it.

    i was on a job for us***ed carpets about four years ago and a german woman was fitting a floor in the said flooring and told me that so! ...not that i care cos i havent come across it since but it looked so easy to fit and she was gwtting a fortune for installation nuff said.

    well its not true for us british. The said company "may" be a future sponsor for the forum. That means discount purchase price for you flooring guys!

    i dont mind either. As long as the eng clic system is good quality, particularly uniclic, which i think is the best. Boen & heartwood (boen subsidary) use uniclic. Does anyone know of any other manufacturers using it. ( apart from quickstep laminate ).
