I was thinking about winter tyres this year.
I live in the middle of no-where, and if the snow arrives, its a nightmare to get anywhere near a main road.
I bought a whole new set of wheels/tyres in the summer, with good intentions, but never actually bought them.

Love the heated seats in the car, would like some of those in the van.

I normally use my bank card to scrape ice off the window then moan when I snap them :jokko
I always have two 25kg bag of salt and grit in the van if its snowy and ice even if i have to sit and wait for ice to melt i will get home. I live at the bottom of a hill so if fresh snow i will use a sheet of 6mm ply and walk up hill using it as snow plow then come back down so have 2 clear tracks width of van before the idiots round me wheel spin all the way up turning snow to ice, but if daughters school is closed the van wont move and just have a play day in the snow

Road salt always on the van. And big floor scraper is great for shifting ice and snow.
