Hi all. After research I know that after ply (I’ve laid 12mm on top of floorboards) I should use a screed to make sure it’s 100% level. However- Im not sure there are any latex-free screeds and I have a very severe allergy (literally died in an ambulance last month) so… yeah I can’t risk it. Any ideas?

Its not too uneven- just one patch about 1ft square and 5mm deep where the fireplace used to be. Can I get away with using polymer one strike filler, (with a primer on top), which I know I’m ok with. I know it’s botching but I’m skint and I needed to change the flooring urgently so I can keep allergies at bay and avoid death lol. I have some mapai polymer tile adhesive but I guess that would finish too grainy and might crack. I also have some resin I could mix up but that seems like a waste. If I mix any of these with fibreglass would that make a difference?

Also, what primer should I use on the ply if using pressure sensitive adhesive and 2mm lvt? I’m getting conflicted advice and when searching I always come across primers meant for concrete not ply :/

Can't you just vacate for a couple days whilst it's fibre screeded???

Can you use something like Tilemaster level flex and finish. It’s water based and doesn’t need primer.
