Looking for the fastest way to remove urethane adhesive from concrete. I have at my disposal. Wolf turbo 2 stripper, 26 inch propane oribatal standup floor grinder with PCD heads, 26 grit diamond cutting heads, various different hammer chisel, . To start I have to remove 1400 ft engineerin hardwood. 6 inch wide by 1/2 thick glued to concrete with urethane adhesive. My plan is to cross cut every 6 inches. I have a new scrapper blade from wolf that looks like a ceramic tile trowel. Very heavy and sharp. It is designed to get between the the wood and adhesive. It will leave much of the adhesive in grooves behind much like what it looks like when you trowel on thinset. I will then follow up with flat blade on the turbo 2 to remove as much of the glue as possible then follow up with my 26 inch floor grinder with ether pcd cutting head and sand to absorb and neutralize any sticking gummy crap from gumming up my equipment. I also have a scrapaway floor buffer machine with new carbides. I know removal of the wood is going to be a bear but the glue and leaving a clean concrete surface behind is my question. My equipment will scrap up that awful green broad loom carpet glue 90% but in 45 years in this business this is the first time I am requested to turn over the job with near polished concrete. I do have the heads and Diamonds for my 26 inch machine. I prefer not to use up my diamonds. I have exactly 2 days to remove the wood and glue
