Have a few pics on my iphone of various jobs etc. A lot of the time i try and upload them here, but the pic limit is too low, so a lot of the time i cant be bothered trying to work out how to make the size smaller to upload. Proper pain in the bum. Any way of upping the pic limit to something a little larger? im not not talking GB's or anything :lol:
I cant really make the size any bigger mate without other issues. The size of the pictures is set (file size not picture size) so we dont slow the place down. Put it this way, if i say allow 2mg and you upload onto the forum and lets say 10 people are viewing your 1 picture at the same time, well your asking the forum to send 20mg of information at once. I would guess most of you only have maybe 3mg internet connection so in perspective we are asking my internet to do a lot of work! As it happens the forum is on a 100mg connection so this wouldn't be a issue but if you start adding in say 5 photos in one post then the forum would come to a stop! This is why it is limited. I would love to make the connection faster but as you can all imagine, 100mg connection speed is far from cheap and i pay out of my own pocket for this. Just compare what you all pay for your 3mg or maybe 10 mg connection (if you posh with loads of money) and im sure you can guess how much it costs! :cry: Anyway, can i recommend you use this place - http://photobucket.com/ You can upload your pics to here and store them here. It will re-size the pictures for you also. You simply copy the link across and the picture will appear. Also it does not affect our internet speeds as the forum diverts to them rather than all coming through us.
