Just started a fair size job, with terrazzo floor, which is covered with latex/adhesive/carpet backing.
This is what we started with

About 900 m to clean up, about 90 of which needed to be properly ground

Back next week, to get it covered up.

Oh mate, some of your jobs are savage! How many meters do the grinders get through a day? Do you have to change the cups/blades?

Lol, some are our stuff is a bit nasty.
Just me and Charlie on this one, this week. We ground about 800m between us, over 3 long days.
The diamonds have lasted really well, and did not get changed on this job. The main problem was juice. I had agreed with the sparks, that they would put in 2 dedicated 32amp supplies, but they only came through with one. I only took 1 5kva trani with me, and its not really man enough to run these grinders.
The big vac is also a 3 motor, so sucks up the juice, as well as the crap.

No.2 son has now left school, and past his cscs h&s test a few weeks back. He starts with me next week, so a nice easy job, to ease him in.
