Been covered for years and time for renewal but just read the fineprint with mine saying that I am not covered from getting tools screwed over if van is not in a locked building between 9pm and 6am. Anyone out there have insurance where this is not required and just the van in the street?
Crap aload of insurances. I remember reading the insurance on my golf clubs saying if in a van the insurance is void. After I paid as well.

Yep, my insurance broker brung this fact to my attention. All those years thinking I was covered :? . Sorted now though, try mma insurance. They have a policy called master tradesmen plus. , covers your tools and liability in one.
