Just loading the van for a job tomorrow and what I thought was a full container of primer T is only 1/8 full. I do have some latex liquid left over is it ok to prime with this, either neat or diluted, instead? Has anyone done this in the past?
I do it, when/if the primer runs out. Works fine. The guy I have been working for lately, don`t prime at all with trade. I had to pull up some supacord on f3, that had been latexed, and not primed. It stuck well, and hardly any came up.
it is not recommended. Providing you are happy to have no warranty on a failed product then carry on.
I do, it used to recommended by F-balls for some of there product. I used it neat. If I had primer, I would use that, but if not, latex it is.
good tip that for emergencies like flooring man has at the minute ive always been told primer only.only time we never primed a floor was when we lifted tiles out of contact floor sticky as hell shoes stuck the lot so we didnt then no problems tho.so how does it work as a primer to bond the screed?as ive never come across it being used for that purpose.
Thanks for the advice lads. Not really what I wanted to hear from you Matt ( I think you're just being awkward because your team had a VERY LUCKY win on Saturday!!!!). I'm a coward - I decide to wait for the primer - coming today.
