Hello, new user here, I'm replacing old hardwood with new engineered hardwood and I'm cleaning the previous glue off the concrete. My question is does it have to be perfectly clean? Or is good enough, good enough?
Depends what glue it is and how big the ridges in the trowel are. If it’s flat and the glue is moisture tolerant you could latex over it. Would be fine if your floating engineered. If it’s stick down with dpm etc you should really remove it all. You should really remove as much as possible. Normally means getting a grinder in. Make sure you use a good extractor some wood glues are not very nice. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
