Pipe trunking.

Looking at a job the other day and they have wooden trunking set into the screeded floor.
there is a slight bit of movement when stood on. I have in the past bridged trunking with ply and latexed up to either side.
Having said that the trunking on this one goes off in all directions so was going to use fibre reinforced. Thinking about using Level Flex as one thread on here says it's pretty good stuff. It's just that movement in the trunking that concerns me.
Areas are kitchen and hall and Karndean Knight Plank going down.
Any thought's lads?

Just alot of doorways mate and then the expansion gap. It's not a big job only 15m2 just awkward!

 

Should be fine mate but prefer fibreplan from mapei best fibre reinforced I've used.

 

Level flex is really cheap mate, I have used it alot, it can leave a rough finish sometimes so you might need to rub it down an put a bit of feather finish on it.

 

best ive used is 700!

 

I'm quoting against another firm and they just priced for normal latex, dont think they picked up on the trunking ( carpet down ) Thats why i was thinking level flex as its same sort of price as latex. How rough is it Daz.

 

The last lot I did was smooth but the time before it was a little rough. Nothing bad though but I rubbed it down an put some feather on it.

 

Think i may use it then Daz . It's a good price but thats what concerns me!
