I went to measure a job today which is a kitchen extension knocked through from the old one to new. The floor has had 6" slab of concrete then 3" of Kingspan and then 8x2 moisture resistant caberfloor floor boards on top. On the new part of the extension they have a dpm sheet put between the concrete and kingspan and but the old half of the house they didn't because of the dpm in the brickwork. Obviously theres sheet dpm under the concrete slabs. Can anyone see a problem with plying out on top of the caberwood t+g flooring. Will the kingspan act as a moisture suppressant as well. The concrete in the old part has only been down 2 weeks and the new part of the extension has been down about a month. Hopefully I've explained myself properly.
The concrete is under the kingspan and caberfloor floorboards so no exposed concrete. Im worried on the side which hasn't had a dpm sheet between kingspan and concrete the moisture will affect the caberfloor 8 x 2 floor boards.
