lovely carpet to fit

fitted a carpet today, it was lovely stuff, the backing was soft, took a good hold on the gripper, cut lovely no threads of the primary backing, streched well (you could feel the strech).basically did what it says in the tin.the quality was lovely. Supplied by carpetright of all ppl, monmouth twist. don't who makes it but a joy to fit.thought i was back in the 80's

 

monmouth is cormars natural berber twist i think :geek:

 

Cormar is nice, I really like Primo Ultra, great quality for the price. Not to keen on thier naturals tho

I got a nice one in Lisburn on Tuesday 5m x 5m board room. Had to be double stuck but old Tretford lifted first. Last fitters used tackifer which meant we stuck to the floor as we were pulling it up. Good thing was we rolled the felt out applied pressure and bingo!!!
Anyway really nice Westex 60oz velvet in bright red. Soft as butter and a treat to work with.
