I am going to fit some Flotex tiles, yes lucky me! What adhesive would my flooring brothers recommend? (Just being lazy and don't have a RAG guide) 'Oh' and there is some border work involved just to add a twist.

    Thanks in advance x x

    Permanent Bond
    F44

    Release Bond:
F41 or S920 if using spray system.

I would use F44, the backing is virtually the same as vinyl. I,ve seen fitters use ordinary doublesided tape on flotex joins in kitchens , say, and wonder why they get a reaction. If you lay flotex tiles in smaller areas you can use anti plas tape.

I would agree with f40, make sure you let it dry properly then it will keep the tiles in place but when the time comes it won't be difficult to get them up or cause damage to screed, ply etc. Also it will be nice and clean to work in especially for the border work, regards all.

Now I come to think of it it must be 25 years since I fitted any flotex. Real easy to work with but the designs were always hideous. Mainly hospital canteens and the like I recall. Is anyone fitting any at present?
