The recycled looking paper stuff you put down beneath underlay as a dust barrier from gaps beneath the boards..where do you get this from now without it costing a fortune? B&Q used to sell it but don't seem to any longer, I've seen some cheap(ish) places online but then delivery is about £7 for a £5 roll (1m x 20m) which jumps up to £20 delivery if you want two rolls!

Most wholesalers tend to sell it

You could always use lining paper for walls, i think it's only a couple of quid a roll, i remember when you used to turn up to a job and the customer would have a pile of newspapers for you to put down, or worse when they had already laid all the newspaper out on the floor, thinking they were being helpful

That was back in the days every other bathroom you did , the customer would want the carpet up the side of the bath or over some boxing .

It's very rare, anyone asks for bathroom carpet now, it was nice to have days filled with foam back bedrooms and bathroom carpet
