Plunge saw is amazing. Anything for cutting, the festool is head and shoulders above anything.

I have the plunge saw, jigsaw and symmetric chop saw.

Bought blue Bosch for years and then listened to people saying festoon is the best. But is it?

I’ve had the festtool plunge saw and the Bosch professional equivalent and the Bosch is far more robust and cuts just as well at almost half the price ?

Not sure what the other brands are like nowadays then, maybe the big hitters have raised their game but like I said festool for cutting was the daddy....

    For me it was:
    Milwaukee - drills
    Festool - precise sawing/cutting
    Wera - screwdrivers/spanners/ratchets
    Refina - mixers

We use the Festool plunge for whiterock, and with the guide its really good. Have used it for other stuff too.
Have a mixture of other kit Bosch, and a lot of Makita 18v, but will eventually get round to changing to Dewalt Flexvolt stuff.
A guy who works with me has bought a lot of the Felxvolt gear now, and really rates it.
I think the Festool kit is good, but overpriced.

Festool & Wolff all the way. Though got my eye on some Lamella and Mafell
