Heard alot of people at work moaning today about englands win last night. It might not be pretty but that's the players we have. We came top of the group and IMO that's great management. Roy is playing a system and it's working. last night was a away game as we had about 4000 fans, they had 50'000. So to win in front of they well in lads. going to be hard vs Italy but you never know.
Let's face it we will never play like Spain or Germany but we look a lot better than we did in the world cup! I can't stand the way Spain play any way, bores me.
fully agree mate spain are boring, we'll see how it goes but Roy's doing a decent job much better than Cappello's thievery.
I'm not sure why the tactics are getting so much criticism to be honest. Italy have played like that for donkeys years and if it was them finishing top in our group the so-called experts would be drooling over it. The players seem to be enjoying the experience, when was the last time you saw England players with smiles like that, Italia 90?
