Going to bite the bullet soon and buy a new coil nailer set up with new compressor etc. What's the best out there? what's my options?
I do loads of that with them. I`ve got four or five guns, some I bought new, some second hand. The older access floors have a thicker metal which can be hard work, but newer ones are thinner, and they go through no problem. I always use f3 with a big notch, just to be sure, and prevent any squeaks.
I have a Bostich compressor, which will just about run 2 guns, not sure on the model. I also have an old green compressor, and an abac one too, which is also good. They all do the same thing but the bostich one can keep up, so no need to let the pressure build up when using one gun. The nail guns are based on the cn45 I think. Some are real, I also have a cheap copy which is not great, and gets jammed up often. Mario may be able to sort you out a deal, and he also sells the nails, at a better rate then Spotnails. Remember to keep the tools well lubricated whichever you go for. I find the in-line oilers the best.
CN45 from Betco fastners Glenn. Good piece of kit. Exactly same as the spotnails one, spotnails even service them
I've also got cn45 from betco, never had any problems with it. Got a bambi ht15 compressor which is quite pricey but decent capacity and a lot quieter than most Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I got mine from here http://inter-nail.co.uk/id1.html I put it side by side withe the spot nail one in mercardos and it's same gun same safety stickers everything £130
