Chinese / European oak

    Pricing a job and the customers onto floors2go to buy the product, timber origin source is Asia.. i understand the manufacturing will be in asia but the source of the timber maybe not.. whats the facts behind Chinese and european oak?

    Never heard of Any Chinese Hardwood, Chinese oak? The facts are its a lot easier to sell French or American oak than Chinese I recon

    didnt neilydun do some chinese engineered on one of his fit only jobs, if memory recalls it wasnt the best of gear and when they opened a pack up it sprung up at them.

    I did mate. This was unbranded gear, and it was the worst I have ever seen. Opened a pack, and the top board nearly had my eye out !
    Very very poor quality.
    Can`t all be like that though, or none would ever get sold.

    Helped out fitting a few packs of some chinese stuff and it wasnt too bad to be fair. Iirc it was from floors2go
