looking for new cpt soon not sure whether to go with westex or brockway though, both do lovely carpet but brockway's stuff fits better than anything else.
yeah not got any in the house. original floorboards, house built 1912 sandstone in kitchen and the kids have got solid wood in the playroom
I did have a rug in the kitchen, but i sold it. apparantly i'm a bugger for doing that, we have stuff in the house and then all of a sudden i've sold it.. oops
I can't see what the problem is - you obviously cut the carpet short and he's done an EXCELLENT job to put it right!!!!!
Sorry but I always say you pay for what you get , and it looks like this customer got there moneys worth After all they chose the cheaper quote but how many of us have put the door strips in the wrong place at the customers Instance just because they don't want to pay for a door cut ???
normaly you can tell by existing floor coverings if new coverings are going to be to high for the door if so price in for it, if I don't notice and don't price just get the door trimmer out takes less than 10 seconds to trim a door
Or just tell the customer, doors need trimming will cost £x.xx or I'll take them off and you can fix from there, no probs as yet always give the option.
I normally cut the doors, if it's just 1 or a couple I just get on with it but if it's the whole house or they are expensive doors I would charge
