    Hi

I am planning to lay solid oak parquet blocks, 250 x 70 x 20. I have been sold Rewmar MS650 adhesive in the form of "sausages" that fit into an adhesive gun.

This will stick the blocks but will not give 100% coverage of adhesive like a tubbed adhesive applied with a trowel.

If I continue with the gun application method what are the issues I am likely to face not just now, but also a few years down the line?

    Thanks for your time.

    Smiler :)

As long as you cover 80% of the block (underside) you should be fine.

Thanks for your prompt reply. I'll make sure I lay enough adhesive to give the coverage.
