Just measured a big job and they are after spaica ebony wood. Not a fan of it as it shows every mark up. Does anyone have any alternatives? So far found none in Polyflor range, project floors has one which looks ok.
Karndean do Van Gogh Ebony, they also do a nice black plank in the Art Select range and they do a black plank in the Opus range. All of them have texture so shouldn't be bad for showing marks. I have fitted the VG one in both a vet practice and a restaurant and both a performing well.
I'll post some up tomorrow mucka, they're on my pc at work The new Knight tile updates don't include a black one I'm afraid.
I'll stick up some pics of the other two set up the design table tomorrow if that helps? Of the ranges, the Art Select one is definately the blackest, some lovely texture and graining in it too. AND .... if you want to be a bit creative you could sell him the parquet of it and edge it in full plank, the colours are identical.
If you click on to Karndeans commercial page they have a photo of HC06 at a recent installation, its the parquet with full plank outer that I mentioned earlier
