ARDEX vs FBALL

    I swear by Ardex feather finish but the firm had none left so i got "micro-coat",which one is best? ie for spreading or finish,the pro is that it comes in a keep clean plastic bucket.

    I dont really like fball micro coat, I normally use Ardex feather finish but last week I got the Uzin stuff and it seems pretty good too. My mates labourer stiched us up a few weeks back, he split a bag of ardex a 45 and poured it in to the 500 bucket thinking it was the same thing. 45 min drive back to the shop for him ha ha. He was not happy

    i dont think there is much in it.

    I prefer Fball tho on the simple fact it comes in a bucket.

    Strange how packaging can make you pick a certain product over another!

    Yeah, thats why I got the Uzin stuff, cos it was in a bucket. Bit wierd theres 2 bags inside 1 bucket?? Im not really sure what to do with it :?

    Feather finish for me, I tell you what's shit though, the laybond one, used it a lot as place I go stocks it.

    i think the same way Matt, it doesn,t make a mess in my van, in a bucket.
