Any fitters had particular success with vinyl trimmers when fitting domestic sheet vinyl ? if so what are the pros & cons, thanks.(eg adjustable Araseur cutter) Also, any tips for freehanding.
I have never used a trimmer for vinyl so can't give any pros or cons as for free handing its practise getting the angle of the knife right for me if I'm cutting I use a hook blade if I need to trim a mm off I use a straight blade, if your struggling why not template it
same as bournmouth. hook blade, try one cut but if it needs a little extra then straight blade to finish. Its just practice, get the knife in tight and just practice where the blade rests on your finger.
araseur on long cuts works a treat nice and quick, for free handing hook blades and practice getting your angles right.
buy a cheap araseur and cut it down to the section with the blade in-great for whipping round the wc as well as those hidden left hand cuts we all love.
