    Hi guys

anhydrite screeds - I'm pricing a job up and im not 100% sure if it's a anhydrite screed. Is there a way of finding out quickly?

    Thanks

If you can see a cross section you will know, another way to tell is besides the latiance is its a lot whiter than screed and will have no stress cracks in floor.

If you take a stone to a section it will rub down like levelling screed.

    Ask the customer or builder.

throw some screed on and see if it pops?.. I know that was no use to anybody...lol
creamy white in colour and if you give it a quick rub with a stone you'll see the skin come off..

booooomm......i hope my brain is correct in my simple master plan of being able to test to see if anhydrite or concrete. Will know more tomorrow when speaking to a few manufacturers.

PS, NEC concrete show tomorrow (well actually today 26/02/15)
