I should add that i will be registering as sole trader for the foreseeable future and i will do my own accounts up to a certain point via a cloud accounts package as i am good with computers and software.

Just wondering what everyone pays as a general guideline so i know i am not gettkng screwed with fees.

    JJ.

It depends how much paper work you give them? Are you vat registered? Tax returns are around £250 I think but I pay all in and get very good rates from a family member

When I was a sole trader I did it myself and got a family member to do my tax and vat returns.
Now I'm Ltd I've got a bookkeeper who costs £50/month and an accountant who charges £750/year
