Nice little earner today 3 beds s/landing bath paying £165 plus shop balance of £450, customer gave me a wad of cash told me to check it and wished me a happy xmas, told him no need i trust him !!! hour later paying cash in shop it was £120 shy.... Rant over learned my lesson CHECK ALL THE TIME, my full days work earned me £45
Not good, some customers get funny but always check even if its family trust no one anyone can make a mistake

I did have someone one pay me too much once. They counted out £20 notes thinking they was £10. Paid me double. cant remember how much but it was a lot of money. Customer was obviously pleased when they watched me count it and there was to much .
customer paid in full cash this week nearly £6K...! took me f00kin ages to count the notes, lol... *always count it out, as mjfl said use the 'just in case you paid too much' reason. from experience most people usually say to check it anyway which can seem a bit pedantic & a pain in front of them BUT leads to no messes like wiz has had
Always count. I got paid quite large the other day and they were nice people but I still counted it twice in front of her. She said, its all there, its come straight from the bank but im not taking the risk.
naa, he was going streight to the tip then out for a meal he was telling me, i only had landline no, take it on the chin....once you leave the house there is very little you can do , its bin that busy last few weeks anyway i still have a fat wallet for now but the mrs is working her way through it, working tmora, £180 in fits and i will check its all there lol
