No ? Bevel the VG to 2.5 then use a 2.5mm design strip between & bevel that down to 2mm to meet the KT Simples !

Natural light will show up any imperfections in the floor ! Do you flexy screed your ply ?
I only screw 9mm & nail 6mm ! Never had these problems of fixings showing through ?
