If you're going to have a covering over the leveling compound ie vinyl or rubber you wouldn't need to use stop gap 800 that's only if your painting it

I'm not aware of that brand of dpm tbo I would have used Ardex 1C dpm then yes why not install a heavy duty vinyl ie safety flooring
A resin would be more hard wearing than painting
