Jesus :eek: You can’t put a water based screed under a DPM ( not that they used one ) or on a damp floor It will break down over time or...
And did they check what exactly the screed the builder put down was and if it was bonded ? You can’t just put any screed on top of another

All Different prices but it would have had to be a latex (hopefully)as it’s moisture tolerant for under the DPM Some gear is under 20 some is 50

How big is this area ? 1200 quid sounds a lot for a coat of DPM and screed ?
Should have been tested before anything was done and scanning a smoothing compound after its been laid will give false readings you have drill...

What ridges ? Razor scrape the excess glue from the seams then 9mm ply or razor scrape the excess glue then prime with 630 and screed
