a 12" tile will cut diagonally on anything bigger than 17", that magnum would cut it easily

ouch if ya need to get a new motor for it, ive seen str's for about £700-800 for a used 110v, problem is 110v are not that common and get snapped...
As far as im awares the motor couldnt be a 110v and a 240v as it runs at set voltages, like dazza says run it on a 110v plug and it wont pick up...
CFS has pretty good ply, stay well away from KJC ply its only good for the chipper, and as it goes wickes ply is pretty good to be fair.
Anything is better than the diy shed stuff! last time I was asked to fit that it was cheap chipboard type gear, I walked away needless to say more...
