What adhesive? What ply or screed ? What was the weather and humidity like on prep and fit day? Any high solar gain areas ?

Over ply and feather Then if you ever need to change the floor the LVT and the ply can be uplifted leaving a clean undamaged subfloor to start fresh
Not many if any floorlayers will lay a spirit level over a subfloor that's to be plyd and yes houses in England are made to a very low standard...
I'd assume it was prepped with ply wood so as it looks flat in the pic it's your landing sub floor that isn't level and nothing can or should have...
