9mm ply, screw, feather, fit Itll be fine
Looks like next to nothing if anything at all An awl or a blunt flat screw driver will close up any slight gaps in the headers
I think you need a less negative fitter and find someone who'll get on with it instead of moaning Nothing is perfect a good fitter can sort it...
