Sorry can't see why you can't use it as long as 110v.
The bigger the compressor the quieter it can be. My 25l is noisier than my 50 litre. Also the bigger volume means its not having to work as much.

As long as the product is selling they'll never do that as would any other Lvt manufacturer. but it is down to the shop to vet the installers...
