I think you would of been better off with an engineered wood floor. If you can actually see damp in the subfloor it sounds like a serious issue....

Well quickstep is bullet proof and won't scratch at all. Also if you have a concrete subfloor it will make it warmer.

Why has a plywood subfloor been put over concrete? Did the contractor installing the plywood wait for the concrete to dry? The f46 glue would work...
