That's what I'd use a resin based compound they're made to accept more stress and strain, call up mapei see what they think.

I think from what's been said fitted floor is a bit kind. The concrete is going to be way too wet.
I wouldn't ply personally wood and concrete/tile should always have a moisture barrier between them, hence a surface membrane, if I remember...

It is if you're fully bonding to floor, using the crappy underlay a vapour barrier helps to bring it above 65%
