2 bags of the 888 (9kg) costs prob tenner less than the ardex feather (11kg) I used to think it took too long to dry but mix it nice and thick...

I had this with lifestyle carpets to, didnt want to have any of it, not even cover the inspection charge so I got it myself and presented them...
Wasnt saying you cant cut under doors etc, I was saying in general certain things some come up against they think it's easier in their heads but...
....and then when it comes to fitting it may seem a doddle on paper but you get to say the last row and some make a right balls up out of it,...
I've found one of the biggest issue is when someone comes on the forum asking for advice yet when given it by the pro's they seem like they...

Them bevellers are awful, especially when you spend an hr setting it up for your labourer to start messing around with it and messing it up :rolleyes:
Xacto spacey....and I have a 'spacey' screwdriver in my collection to.
Straight edge in the cuts, use either spare piece/plastic to slip underneath slightly whilst I bevel and slot in.... simple....
Not the wrong way but a choice of way and the bevelling can still be done, why cant you bevel yours?

If more cracks are appearing then how worse will it get... Either start over (which I dont think you are feeling) or mesh it, flood it with some...
It looks saggy enough to take off and redo but failing that then a fresh piece required. Did they leave you with any offcuts?
