If i have to seal round a toilet, etc when fitting laminate, i usually use a close colour, then go over it with translucent, it usually blends it...
Maybe you could try mixing different colours until you get the right shade
Personally, i would go for something with a beveled edge, it just highlights the fact they are all individual pieces, but that's just my preference

In that case, the quickdrive might not be any use, screws might be too long, they were talking about making it useable with shorter screws a while...

Without seeing the job, i'd probably say a high end price for preparation materials would be about £30sqm and £35sqm fitting
