Uzin never makes me twitch but I just use an adhesive that works! Balls screed I like though. Safer not to acclimatise? o_O
Make sure you ask the fitter the reason for not acclimatising the lvt aswell

What actual damp meter did you use? How long was the new slab left before fitting on it? Did you test it yourself or did the 'fitter'?
You got any pictures to show us? Was the new slab definitely dry?

You won't get it from them. You'll have to look online and buy through a proper flooring supplier.
