You could try lifting the edges and brush on a small amount of latex( I'm not sure if you can still buy little bottles of copydex) or even pva

Looks like the 6inch knight tile, was it fitted on a very hot day? How long after fitting, did you notice the gaps?

I'm assuming they fit the skirting after laying the floor, i prefer to fit skirting first, the fitting takes a bit longer, but you're not left...
I always find it easier to grind down bolts and washers afterwards, rather than pick them up first, the time consuming bit is getting a good coat...
So he has the equipment to grind the screed and residue down, but chose to do it after screeding, then apply another coat, seems an odd way round...
The uzin comes with a nozzle that goes into the drilled hole,i think b&q do the repair kits,you get either 4or6 blocks and a little soldering iron...
We will always recommend doing the job properly, but if you want to attempt a repair, then that's your choice, i would probably suggest injecting...
If you really wanted to go down that route, take a look at uzin rk37,but as Daz said, you'd be better taking it up and sorting it out properly
