He should have undercut all the arcs to slide the LVT under to get a better finish unless he cuts around them neat. Should not need any silicone...
Did he do the preparation as well?
Looks bad. Have you paid for the job? Was it a cheap job ? Did you go to a shop or buy online and find a fitter.
