The thing is they'll be phoning you later on to fix it when they bugger it up.
If they insist on gel back on felt underlay and won't budge, then you need to walk away.
Template vinyl? Jeeeeeeeeeesus......even architaves?.........double Jeeeeeeesus:eek:
I used Uni-something or other, universal tackifier suitable for anything from carpets to vinyls. Usually use F46, but got a good deal on the Uni-thing
@spacey How do you fit vinyl then? Template?
It's a bit rough on the knuckles when you're hooking it in, the woodgrain effect is pretty realistic

It never is
Eh? You can't possibly hope to centralise a pattern if the size of the repeat is more than you have to play with... ie if the repeat is 10 cm and...
Yeah you can template it (who the hell templates sheet vinyl?), but he's asking how to centralise a pattern when there's no room for movement.
Because the tiles/planks may be say 10cm wide, but he's only got 5cm leeway.
You cant......just make sure it's straight along the longest viewable wall.
Cant say I've ever seen gripper pins bent by carpet before, but hey-ho!
Your fitter would need to see that the gripper is in the correct place first (may have been fitted by an "enthusiastic diy-er?). If it is, then...
Yep, sorted now thank you:D
As the title suggests, for some reason I'm no longer allowed to click on other posters' photos of their work etc. What's that all about then?
The long ones were originally made for gardeners to aerate their lawns, my Mum had some thirty-odd years ago.;)
You're welcome.......though really, It's only my wife that has to call me Sir;)
Looks like Bubblegum/Liquorice from Avenue
