    Laminate in kitchens?

    Is laminate recommended for kitchens? I dont fit it but somone was asking,I would have thought if it got wet it may swell?

    hardboard before carpet?

    If you use pre-treated Hardboard no need to wet it. I would also advise Ply over Hardboard anyday. ;)
