It seems harder than pine - with pine I can stick my finger nail into it very easy - with the floor i can't - I took a small flat head screw...
I've gone over the wood with 40 grit sand paper and most scuffs / large scratches etc have come out nicely - I'm going to go all the way to a 120...
After sanding even more the color looks like pine - is there any way to identify the type of wood ? Would be good to know just in case I need any...
