this is a question is for the guys working on site. can I use a air compressor on site as long as its 110v? and does the noise of the compressor have to be below a certain db? the one ive got now is 240v and its loud at 95db so im wanting to buy one for site work but I don't want it to be too loud and get kicked off site. its for my pneumatic floor nailer so its going to be charging up regularly
The bigger the compressor the quieter it can be. My 25l is noisier than my 50 litre. Also the bigger volume means its not having to work as much.
ive got a 25ltr but its a old machinemart compressor and its loud, it runs out pretty quick using my floor nailer ,it looks like I mighnt take your advice and go for the 50ltr but 110v
I've got a 240v and a 110v coming it's very quiet This one might be better for putting in the back of the van. Specification: Power: 600W Volt./Hz: 110~240V 50~60Hz Speed: 1400/1750 r.p.m Air Flow: 118 L/min at 0Bar Noise Level: 51dB Max Pressure: 8Bar Restart Pressure: 5Bar Tank Capacity: 4L Weight: 20KG Product Size: 420*180*490mm
Not until September though due to trying to keep costs down, they're coming over with spikey rollers as one shipment
At a guess £330 but they're worth well over that. I've got them to try and get a really good package together, nothing left out and will be sold as a kit initially then separates if the 2 sample sets gets good reports..
Thought you were renting a kit? I could get them over sooner but that's £150 more as a single delivery for 2 units. I know what's going to happen, the kit will be awesome and I'll have to order more compressors quick. The nail guns are due very soon Merit, so if you want one I'll send you the kit until compressor turns up if you want?

never had a problem on site with my 110v spotnails kit and thats 95db, you just might get asked to wear ear defenders depending on how precious the site agents are.
