Anyone using any? Most are free at 1st then you have to pay to get the extras. Invoices2go is one I had a look at a while ago. Just got easy books on my iPad an iphone. Not had a look at it yet. My accountant wants me to start using http://www.freeagent.com/tour/overview Its £20 a month bit he said if we use that we will save over the fee in our bill off the accountants at the year end. You can set up a quote then instant change it to invoice then it tracks if they have paid and when as it links to your bank account. Got a month free so giving it a try. I do about 3-4 invoices a week and just as many quotes so might be worth it. At the moment I use Microsoft word / excel like most of us.
I don't use any apps. Straight forward e-mails as quote or typed if that's what they request. Invoices always sent as e-mails as that's what everyone wants.
I dont use any apps email or post quote sometimes customers just want a text with costs on then email or hand deliver invoice when job completed it suits me fine as theres no costs for me
I use customised invoices that I have made in duplicate, most of my customers are happy with verbal quotes, if they want it written I use an invoice, and mark it as "quotation only" Looking to do online V.A.T. and accounts though.
Just had some notepads with company logo on the front done by vista print. Looks a bit better when ur out estimating I think.
We also have a typist. Really good to have someone sending out paper copies for every invoice, some people still like paper estimates plus she does all our e-mail estimates and invoices. We have a set fee whether she does 20 or 200. Retired lady who does is for some extra money. One less headache for me, just ring her up when im stuck in traffic or having a break, she takes all the notes and gets everything done.
