So Spotnails have got a new electric stapler that is ok for fixing subfloors! It takes the same staples as the air stapler apparently. Any1 used it or got one?

My electric spot nailer has spent more days broke than working never going to buy one again! I've got a bea stapler and that's spot on but not electric bea dp staples are better also.
one other reason for not buying a Spotnails is seen the guys at Harrogate and told them how many times mines been repaired and the price I've payed for it and they couldn't give a monkeys ( or well, kind of response ), on the other hand my bea stapler I bought second hand and broke, the guys at bea repaired it free of charge and free postage back that's customer service for you!

Bea? Not heard of them? I gotta say I've never had a problem with any of the Spotnails electric staplers but the air stapler had to be fixed once

Spotnails are prone to break, I don't think they are nowhere near as good as other company's out there IMO, your lucky if the electric stapler hasnt broke not up to the job. Bea are a 100 year old German company a lot of upholstery's use them.

spotnails are easy to fix yourself 9/10 its the spring in the firing mechanism, Ive bought the spring for under a tenner and 10 minutes late its like new, as far as im concerned if you are using it to fix ply then expect to replace the spring at some point in its life as the constant use wears it out prematurely.
