Full of cold, coughing and sneezing all day which ain't good in front of the customer.
Do you still go to work? Do you phone and tell the customer or just turn up an say nothing.

Bet she has a cold now an will blame me.

I know it's terrible having to work when you feel lousy and you don't want to pass it on either but I like to try and even do a half shift if I can. Always think it shows the customer that you really want to try and get them done.

Remember four years ago I was coming down with what I thought was a heavy cold, just carried on. Then few hours later had to go home very ill (not like me) ended up with swine flu and off work for 2 weeks solid , in bed . Though I was going to die it was horrendous I turned purple and everything.

Its difficult when your self employed to take time off work at the best of times but worse when your ill. I usually try and work through it. Has to be really bad for me not to go.

I've not been feeling great for a few weeks now. Just when your getting rid it comes back. To busy to take time off.

Had a morning when I was sick loads. Turned up at the customers house about 30mins late. Started putting some feather down and suddenly was sick like a machine. Luckily I had the bucket there lol. The customer was fine and asked of I wanted to go home. Stayed there in the end and the apprentice done most of the job.

    Tough choice to make

I'm too busy to take time off. Every day counts at the mo. But thinking should I ring ahead and warn customers.
Going a tranmere x players do tomorrow night too. Will be on the fresh orange I think. Might as well drive there too.

Yeah maybe best to ring ahead . Gives you a bit of peace of mind too. Bending over doing border work all day with a runny nose will be a nightmare mate.

The worse is when you turn up and the customers full of it, I feel like going home.

Well turned up an empty house. Good job as I'm sneezing like mad. Everything is taking ages.
