    I've done a few of those old pine wideboards, takes a lot of effort to get them looking good...

    I've sanded old floors like that by hand. No equipment just good old fashion sandpaper and a little muscle behind it.

    I did many job's like that,

    Last one was, Wooden floor since 1855, oak r&g parquet

    But the price was higher,

    Are you kidding !! good luck with hand sanding a dog of a floor like that...i wouldn't particularly fancy a floor like that with my 10" Bona Belt...;)

    I've heard 2" can make all the difference...!!
