Uplifting

    How would you go about uplifting plywood with spacia on top?

    200m2 in different rooms.
    Thinking of using my exakt saw and cutting straight through every meter then crow bar under the edge and hopefully it will pull the nails out too. Hope it's not screwed down.

    I wouldnt mess about with your exact use a circ saw then a take up tool.Use goggles for when you hit a fastener,which you will.

    Are the wall built on top of the ply ?

    I would just hoik it up then. Any job like that, I always tell them the skirtings are likely to be damaged, and that its unavoidable.
    If its spotnailed, it should be easy, if screwed, your screwed !
    Might be lucky, and they put the adhesive down with a screed trowel !

    ****in hope its not screwed then. My nephew will be screwed if it is.
    That's if I get the job lol, my price ain't cheap lol

    Is normally just drop my labour off with a few tools & say:

    "Uplift that I'll pick you up later !"

    I get back its uplifted & I didn't break a sweat happy days

    What do you do about the thousands of staples left in the floor when you do a job like that then?

    Spend half hour rolling floor with A old 120kg roller then 3mm ply then flexi latex or gjve a labourer a hammer and say see you tomorrow

    Bully scraper be any good? I hate hammering them in incase you hit something under the floor.

    Its one a subbie had made when I was training andhe left it at old company when he retired 15 years go its a ****ing beast very rarely it comes out due to weight

    Evolution rip saw with special blade cuts through metal and wood set it to depth and cut into sections, then big crow bar
