How you go about installing Karndean Island limestone ? The install instructions in the box say to lay in full sheets but I find find this impractical as the tiles are never tight together in the panel

and if you install it seperately it's even worse, just be prepared to have a gap here and there.. lol

In full sheets. The stuff isn't cut great so it always has loads of gaps. Just try to squeeze it together and move it. Then hope your customer don't notice the gaps! Hate all the random panel designs they have.

Only break it down on small hallways/toilets and to cut into the wall

Ive done tons of it & always strip it down ! & your right its almost impossible not to get the odd gap here & there floor prep has to be spot on ! Any slight difference in levels & thats the job *****d

Yep. I almost feel embarrassed laying the stuff. Told the shop to try and not sell it. Always have the same tile short especially on the knightile version. I've had to get bigger tiles And cut them In to fit to keep some customers happy. The onyx t88 ain't so bad as the tiles black but the soapstone is poor.

Had a bathroom with platform last week, and ended up bevelling the back edges just so they didn't have a hair line gap. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1370972006.310351.jpg

I take it was bevelled so you didn't have to put a trim on

No, just so the tiles butted up. The photo was taken before the trim went on as was waiting for it to be delivered.

ht adhesive, mark out 1 tile at a time, drop in one go and you will have 5 mns to move tiles tighter together. score film at joints and stretch black tape over joints to pull in tight. any gaps run point of blade down joint to flatten wear laye.r
